PROFESSOR TAJUDEEN AYODEJI OLASINDE
Dr. Tajudeen Ayodeji Olasinde is a renowned Professor of Radiation and Clinical Oncology at the Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U.) and Chief Consultant at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (A.B.U.T.H.), Zaria, Nigeria.
Tajudeen Olasinde was admitted at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Lagos in September 1978. He graduated with medical (M.B; B.S) degrees in 1984.
He served one year as an intern at University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin and another year for the National Youth Service Corp at the General Hospital, Marina-Lagos till July 1986. He was appointed at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Lagos as a Senior House Officer in August 1986.
Tajudeen Olasinde was awarded an International Atomic Energy Agency Fellowship to begin training in Radiotherapy and Oncology at University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria in October 1989. Simultaneously, he passed and obtained:
Diploma in Medical Radiology (Therapy), DMRT University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria in 1990.
Fellowship of the Vienna Academy of Postgraduate Medical Education (FVMA) in 1992.
FACHARZT (Specialist Doctor) by the Austrian Medical Council in 1992.
Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) in 1996.
Fellow of the International College of Surgeons (FICS) in 1996.
He joined the services of A. B. U. and A. B. U. T. H., Zaria in January 1993 as Lecturer 1 and Pioneer Radiation & Clinical Oncologist. He rose through lecturing, research activities and promotions to become Professor on 1st October, 2012. He was the Head of Department of Radiotherapy and Oncology from Feb 1995 to March 2019.

Prof T. A. Olasinde has attended over 140 International and Local conferences to date. He has equally published over 70 articles in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings. He is a devoted educator and has been an invited speaker on over 100 occasions.
His hobbies are playing Table Tennis, Current Affairs and Tourism.
